We just returned from a week at 31 South Live Oak. Eagle's Nest was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The home is beautiful and spacious. Perfect for a large family, the rooms are big and cozy and most importantly there is enough room where each guest could have some quiet time when needed. There were so many favorite features, the large floor to ceiling windows flood the hallway with natural light during the day and provide a beautiful view of the pool in the courtyard located in the middle. It was perfect to have a private bathroom for each bedroom. We had everthing we needed in the kitchen and enjoyed planning our daily activities over coffee in the breakfast room as we watched the golfers on the first green. We have a Keurig at home so I was delighted to see one in the kitchen. I am an early riser and would enjoy coffee out in the green seats overlooking the lagoon. Our favorite room by far was the Captain's Cabin where our goup enjoyed many hours of relaxation, a few glasses of wine and the huge flat screen over the fireplace. The location is a quick bike ride to the beach, Harbour Town and Lawton Stables. One of my favorite activities is riding bikes throughout Sea Pines. In my opinion Live Oak is the nicest street in the resort. We had a wonderful time, Carol and Gary are delightful and attentive to every detail. It is very clear they put countless hours and many personal touches into this home. Thank you for providing another amazing property for families to relax and enjoy. See ya next year!!

From the first time I inquired about this rental until the end of our vacation Carol was great to work with. This was our fifth time vacationing in HH and both the house and the neighborhood were the best we have experienced. Live Oak Rd. is very quiet and is an extraordinarily beautiful residential setting. The overview on this rental doesn't do justice to this house. If anything this house is better, in every way, than the description in the overview. I could take you on a tour of the entire house but the bottom line is, it’s better than the description on their website. We especially liked the house surrounding the pool. The pool is in a courtyard setting. We also like the idea that each bedroom was large and had a private bath. The beach is just a short walk. The description on the website said a five minute walk. I believe that time was an overstatement. One last thing, this is not a new house, but it has been well maintained and is super clean. The furnishings and ambience in this house looks like someone used a designer. For my final and highest compliment, we have booked this same property for next year. Carol, thanks again.

Eagles Nest is perfect in every way. Great location (close to the beach, Beach Club, golf course and Harbor Town). The house seems to go on forever and is laid out perfectly. Lots of large windows with great views of the pool area, the beautiful grounds and the adjoining golf course. Each bedroom has its own bath and the oversized great room is perfect for TV viewing and family gatherings. The house surrounds a heated pool which became the focal point for us in the evening. My family and I have stayed in different locations in Sea Pines every year for over 30 years and I have to say that Eagles Nest is my absolute favorite.

This is our sixth year renting from Carol and Gary and this time we tried something different when we learned of their new property. Eagle's Nest does not disappoint. This beautiful home is set back from Live Oak Rd providing privacy along with beautiful golf and water views amidst lush landscaping. When you enter the home, you're greeted with a lovely courtyard pool (where we spent the majority of our time!) You'll find everything you need for a wonderful getaway - from the new Weber grill to the well equipped kitchen with new appliances to the Captain's Cabin with a large screen tv and huge leather sectional - great for relaxing at the end of the day. The generously sized bedrooms each have their own bathroom and the fluffy scented towels along with the large beach towels are awesome. Eagle's Nest is also a great location - very quiet but also just a short walk from the beach and close to everything - the Salty Dog Happy Hour Cruise is just a short drive in Sea Pines. Carol is always a pleasure to deal with and there are lots of details in this home to appreciate. Thanks for another great vacation - looking forward to 2020.

We have stayed at many homes on HHI while on vacation and Eagles Nest is "just right". The house is in a quiet setting, large with plenty of room for multiple families to stay and have some privacy with terrific views of the golf course. Our stay included four adult children, spouses, grandchildren and one dog. The layout of the house allowed the adult children to have fun into the night while the grandchildren slept without being disturbed. The amenities are topnotch (and unexpected) from the herbs and spices in the kitchen to the beach cart and towels for our travels to the beach. The courtyard with the pool and Weber grill were used often!!!! This is a home we will use again on our next trip to HHI.

This is the second time we have rented from Carol and Gary. The Eagles Nest was a wonderful home for our group. We are three couples that have been meeting at New Years for the past 37 years. This house was great for us and the layout was the best. The best mattresses we have ever had. Thanks Carol and Gary. The location of this house was set off the road and right on the golf course. We will be back to stay here when we return to Hilton Head. Thanks again Carol and Gary.

This was the first time we have rented with Carol & Gary and it certainly won't be the last. The Eagle's Nest is just what the doctor ordered with Covid-19 having almost everything on lock-down. The house is on a quite cul-da-sac with lagoons in the front and back filled with wildlife to watch and enjoy. The beach was a nifty 5 minute walk or a very easy bike ride. We enjoyed the 75 inch TV at nights to have family movie nights. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook and has an amazing Ninja Blender that got plenty of good use!! Carol was easy to reach and is amazing to work with to make sure your family has a very memorable time. Thank you for all your hospitality.

Eagles Nest is better than the website can depict or describe. Every room on the golf course side has beautiful views out the abundant windows in each room. Whether it’s the lagoon with the frequent blue herons, egrets, or multiple alligators or watching the golfers or the sunrise across the golf course, the views from Eagles Nest are outstanding. Out the back of the house from the Den or Master Bedroom looking over the yard and towards the Plantation Clubhouse in the distance and of course from the wonderful pool area, the view is just as stunning. And the pool area is wonderfully private and provides the perfect place to relax and enjoy a nice swim, relaxing in the sun, or lounging in the shade with a good book. And the bedrooms, each with their own bathroom(s) are equally as nice. We’ve now stayed in three of Carol and Gary’s houses and each has provided a wonderful and memorable experience. We’ve already reserved the Beach House in September so we’ll complete the “grand slam”. I’m sure we’ll be equally as impressed with it as we have the other three. You can’t go wrong with any. My wife says she feels spoiled when visiting any of these homes. And we also really appreciate the fact that they are all dog friendly as our lab also enjoys vacation and each home has excellent areas for morning and evening walks.

Beautiful views from every window.... short walk to the quiet beach. What a relaxing week. We didn’t want to leave....and we will surely be back some time soon.

Fantastic property with very responsive hosts. This house met and exceeded all of our expectations.

This is our 10th friends trip and this property was hands down the best we have ever had. More than enough room to spread out and a great pool. Carol was very helpful with any questions that came up which there were very few. we will definitely be back!!!

We had the perfect stay at Carol and Gary's home. They have thought of everything and the home has the best equipped kitchen of any rental we have stayed in. When we arrived the home was immaculate and has wonderful beds. We will be back next year. Thank you Carol and Gary for the perfect get away and great communication.

This was our second time renting from Carol and Gary. We are even more impressed this time and we did not think that was possible. We loved everything about this house. The separation of bedrooms from living areas was ideal as I have two small children who go to bed early. The views of the golf course are amazing. We could sit and watch all day. Also the access to the lagoons was nice for those wishing to relax and fish. The kitchen has everything you could ever desire. The house is so big our group of 6 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy our vacation. The tv room is the perfect retreat after a day in the sun. Live Oak is an unbeatable street in sea pines. We will absolutely be back again!

Tranquil location with views of the Golf course and lagoon . 5 minute walk to the beach. Lots of space to spread out, all on one level. Best equipped kitchen we have found so far. Giant tv room and a magnificent pool. Excellent communication from Carol our host. Property is extremely clean and fully equipped with everything you need. Enjoy!
